The idea of this initiative is the implementation of the vision of HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, which invites for intensifying awareness among the various social categories, and involve the members of society at all levels and capabilities. Building the awareness on the understanding of society’s issues and empower society members to educate each other through plans and programs studied.
The initiative was implemented in accordance to the memorandum of understanding signed between University of Sharjah and Khalifa Empowerment Program. This initiative represents an executive framework for achieving common responsibility among all federal and local institutions and bodies and private institutions, and activating common goals in building the country and developing citizens. And to work to fortify our country and society against behavioral, moral and ideological challenges

The Community Leadership Initiative aims to prepare groups of young people, women, mothers and social specialists by training and qualifying them to become leaders in their communities and lead the awareness process for a number of social problems of security dimensions such as drug, sexual abuse and identity disorders.
