Under the generous guidance of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Khalifa Empowerment Program celebrated the International Day of Down Syndrome in cooperation with Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Care and People of Determination. The program celebrated by presenting some of the events and competitions that have attracted the attention of the audience who were present at the gate of Bawabat Alsharq Mall in Abu Dhabi This educational, social and humanitarian initiaive is not new to the program, which has provided many similar events over the past years. The event included the distribution of children’s souvenirs and many prizes to people of determination, photographs and media coverage. “Ms. Halima Al-Derai stressed the importance of being present in such events, which provide all that is beneficial and humane to the UAE society and the world. In the promotion of values of tolerance and respect and broadcast all that is positive and useful. The Lt. Col. Salim Saqr, Deputy of General Coordinator of the program stresses on the keenness of the Khalifa Empowerment program to be present in such activities and provide the strongest offers and events that fit the activity and broadcast messages of awareness and good and ethics and send a message of love and interest to humanity.
